Health Movement Monday- Part Two

Cleanse? Aka, Damage Control

Don't roll your eyes.. I'm talking cleanse myself of this past weekends indulgences and get back on track to being the BEST I CAN BE.. simple. But obligatory. 
If I don't evaluate the decisions I've made and determine the weekends-celebratory acts versus the impulsive ones then I wont be able to move forward honestly 
in putting my body and health back in balance.
Are You Following? 

This weekend.. My Grandfathers 75th Birthday.
Evidence.
This is one of the classic "selifes" my father's mastered. 
That's Chris (Dad) at the bottom, with that handsome smile! 
And I'm the one whose already had a few glasses of Cab Sauv... no shame.

Anyways- This evening was a celebration, clearly.  

Cocktails, Hors d'oeuvre's, clam chowder, ribs, cake... yah..  and after we left the party.. we moved it downtown in Newport.  It was a FUN night. No regrets. But the next day it's your responsibility to target what was an indulgence and what the consequences are.

Rise and Shine. Be Active. Be Positive. 
Be Grateful for what you do have and Nourish that.
My DAMAGE CONTROL: Have a plan for the days nutrition and helping your body fight the foreign.

Now, I don't 'speak car-lingo' but.. stay with me..
I compare my body with a car.. a nice, nice car!
Cars need gas, oil changes, washes, tune ups, etc- to operate the best it can.
If you deprive your car of gasoline then eventually it's going to stop running.
What happens when we ignore the cars warning signs???
The cars essential parts can be compared to our organs and entire selves.

When we deprive ourselves of water, nutrition, and ignore the warning signs (exhaustion, dizziness, dehydration, etc.), we are running our car (selves) into the ground.. 
I don't know about you but I don't want to rapidly depreciate.

Last night I treated myself to an early bedtime.
Currently I am drinking Dandelion Tea 


I've prepared a Detox Smoothie/meal replacement for lunch...
It's high in protein, antioxidants and lots of chia seed!!
